The mechanic will drain the old oil, change the oil filter and refill up to 4l of engine oil, which match the manufacturers standards and your engine type. If the oil tank of your car is larger than 4 litres, you will have to pay the price difference according to the price list at the garage (the cost is typically between £10 and £25 depending on the type of oil). Additionally, the interval display for the oil changes will be updated, if required.
The car must be older than the manufacturer's warranty, typically 2 - 5 years. If your car is covered by the warranty of the manufacturer then we recommend that you book an inspection instead of this basic service, which is according to the manufacturer's standards.
